Max. size:  8.2 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 21 - 120 m
Distribution:  Eastern Pacific: Mexico to Ecuador.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 80-89; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 63-74; Vertebrae: 46-49
Biology:  Probably taken as bycatch in trawl fisheries (Ref. 9294).
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 30 October 2020 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
