Family:  Nemacheilidae (Brook loaches)
Max. size:  5.18 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: stream Mong Mo in Viet Nam.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 12-12; Anal soft rays: 8-8. Differs from its congeners in Indochina by the combination o the following characters: body with 6-11 dark bars, regularly shaped and set; black bar at caudal fin base complete, without triangular pads at each extremity; small median incision in upper lip; incomplete lateral line reaching between dorsal fin base and anal fin base; processus dentiformis slender; axillary pelvic lobe not reduced and pelvic fin origin slightly anterior to dorsal fin origin or below simple dorsal fin rays (Ref. 40772).
