Max. size:  4.3 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: Mekong basin in Laos.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 12-12; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 8-8. Body slender (body depth 5.9-7.8 times in SL); 6-11 black saddles extending from the middle of the sides across the dorsal mid-line on a whitish-yellowish background; a large roundish black blotch on caudal-fin base (Ref. 27732).
Biology:  Found in streams with relatively clear, fast water and sandy to gravel substrate; stomach of one female specimen contained aquatic insect larvae (Ref. 27732).
