Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: Chao Phraya and Mae Khlong basins of Thailand (Ref. 12041) and Malaysia (Ref. 26580).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found in streams with strong current, depth up to 70 cm and stony substrate with patches of algae and massive of Cryptocorine balansae Gagnepain, a long leaved Araceae (Ref. 39226).
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 07 July 2011 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
