Distribution:  Southwest Pacific: Bali, Indonesia.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 70-76; Anal soft rays: 54-61; Vertebrae: 40-41. Pectoral fin on eyed side at least twice as long as head (Ref 12933).
Biology:  Feeds on small benthic animals.
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 07 November 2020 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
