Max. size:  13 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: Mekong basin.
Diagnosis:  Oblong body, depth 2.7-3.0 times in SL; stout caudal peduncle, 1.2-1.6 times longer than deep; length of stiff part of last simple dorsal ray less than half of body depth at dorsal origin in large specimens; yellow and black pattern on caudal fin very contrasted (Ref. 43281).
