Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater; depth range 0 - 1 m
Distribution:  North America: Mexican states of Jalisco and Michoacan in Rio Grande de Santiago basin, Rio Lerma basin and Rio Ameca.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits standing and slow flowing waters. Prefers altitudes of 1000 m.
