Max. size:  15 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: Krishna river system in Maharashtra and middle Pennar River in Andhra Pradesh, India.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabit slow moving turbid streams (Ref. 41236). Oviparous, eggs are unguarded (Ref. 205).
