Distribution:  Western Central Pacific: Philippines.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 3-3; Dorsal soft rays (total): 21-21; Anal spines: 1-1; Anal soft rays: 14-14; Vertebrae: 28-28. This species is distinguished by the following: LL pattern type 3; cheek scale rows 5-6; oblique body scale rows in the mid-lateral series about 45; dorsal fin with interradial membranes between second spine; first soft ray black distally (Ref. 119093).
