Family:  Opisthocentridae ("Rearspined fin pricklebacks")
Max. size:  15 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 1 - 300 m
Distribution:  Northwest Pacific: Japan (Ref. 559) and South Korea (Ref. 77001).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found near shore among algal beds; usually shallower than 70 meters, but found to depth of 300 meters (Ref. 51666).
IUCN Red List Status: Not Evaluated (N.E.) Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
