Family:  Blenniidae (Combtooth blennies), subfamily: Blenniinae
Max. size:  4 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 2 - 6 m
Distribution:  Western Indian Ocean: known only from central Oman.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 10-10; Dorsal soft rays (total): 25-26; Anal spines: 2-2; Anal soft rays: 23-24
Biology:  Adults occur in rocky bottom. Seen under ledges swimming upside down (Ref. 11441). Oviparous. Eggs are demersal and adhesive (Ref. 205), and are attached to the substrate via a filamentous, adhesive pad or pedestal (Ref. 94114). Larvae are planktonic, often found in shallow, coastal waters (Ref. 94114).
