Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 16-16; Dorsal soft rays (total): 8-8; Anal spines: 3-3; Anal soft rays: 5-6. Spines present on the lateral surface of the lachrymal and on the lateral surface of the first suborbital bone (Ref. 41496).
