Distribution:  North America: Atlantic Slope drainages from James River in Virginia to Neuse River (1 record in the upper Cape Fear River) in North Carolina, USA.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits rocky pools and runs of creeks and small to medium rivers (Ref. 86798).
