Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 70-73; Anal soft rays: 58-62; Vertebrae: 41-41. Distinguished by the following characters: large numbers of lateral line scales (82-92); dorsal fin rays 70-73, anal fin rays 58-62; vertebrae 10 + 31; transverse dark bands on the ocular side 5 (Ref. 58289).
