Max. size:  3.5 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: Malaysia.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 1-1; Dorsal soft rays (total): 6-6; Anal soft rays: 6-6; Vertebrae: 35-36. Large eyes (diameter of 14.1%-15.1% HL). Pectoral spine with 16 serrations on the posterior edge and 35 vertebrae. Body brown with 3 rows of cream-colored spots located (on both sides) above, along and below the lateral line.
Biology:  Inhabits streams (Ref. 84801).
