Max. size:  65 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; brackish
Distribution:  Eastern Indian Ocean: Gangetic estuary in India; and probably Bangladesh.
Diagnosis:  Vertebrae: 115-130. Extremely elongate, relatively slender body, with depth 47-50 times in total length; head inconspicuous from rest of body, its length 10-12 times in total length; occipital crest not elevated (Ref. 4832).
Biology:  Occurs in estuaries.
