Family:  Gobiidae (Gobies), subfamily: Gobiinae
Max. size:  4.35 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 6 - 10 m
Distribution:  Mediterranean Sea: Adriatic and Levant seas. Recently found in the western basin and the Aegean.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occurs in inshore shallows and lagoons, among and under stones (Ref. 4696). Benthic (Ref. 51024).
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 12 March 2014 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
