Environment:  demersal; freshwater
Distribution:  Africa: Ogowe and Kouilou-Niari Rivers in Gabon and Republic of Congo (Ref. 27691) and the Chiloango (Ref. 42034, 120641). Also widespread in the Congo River basin, from the lower Congo basin (Ref. 1878) up to the Wagenia Falls (Ref. 106245), in Cameroon (Ref. 1878, 46233), Republic of Congo (Ref. 1878, 53209), Democratic Republic of the Congo (Ref. 1878, 11970, 41585, 41580, 45441, 106245, 106290) and Angola (Ref. 11970, 120641).
