Family:  Cyprinidae (Minnows or carps), subfamily: Labeoninae
Max. size:  12 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: Mekong basin (Ref. 12693) and Chao Phraya basin (Ref. 26336).
Diagnosis:  Dark stripe along the body; 11 predorsal scales; 5+22 gill rakers (Ref. 12693).
Biology:  Inhabits small to medium-sized high-gradient streams. Feeds on periphyton and phytoplankton (Ref. 12693).
