Diagnosis:  Vertebrae: 26-26. This species can be distingished by the following set of characters: D1 fin pterygiophores insertion pattern 3-121110; vertebrae 11+15=26; D and A fin pterygiophores 7; and caudal fin with parhypural (Ref. 93348).
