Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Africa: Katare, Malagarasi swamp, Wami, Ruaha and Rufiji Rivers in Tanzania.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Present in the Rufiji, Wami and Malagarazi systems (Ref. 4967).
IUCN Red List Status: Near Threatened (NT); Date assessed: 31 January 2006 Ref. (130435)
