Distribution:  South America: Brazil.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  This species is known only from the type locality, found in annual pools of the Brazilian semi-arid habitat. No aggressive behaviour was observed, proving to be very peaceful and not too prolific species (Ref. 108434).
