Distribution:  South America: Rio Solimòes in Brazil and Río Ucayali in Peru.
Diagnosis:  Vertebrae: 26-26. This species is distinguished from its congeners by presence of two medial anal plates (vs. single medial anal plate) (Ref. 84367).
