Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  South America: ParaĆ­ba do Sul, Piabanha, and Doce River basins in Brazil.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Distinct pairs breed on densely grown weedy places (Ref. 205).
