Environment:  bathypelagic; marine; depth range 100 - 1829 m, oceanodromous
Distribution:  Indo-Pacific.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits the open ocean. Spends the day in midwater from 305-1,829 m depth and migrates near surface at night (Ref. 2850). Mesopelagic (Ref. 75154).
