Max. size:  70 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 10 - 30 m, non-migratory
Distribution:  Southeast Pacific: Galapagos Islands.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits clean sand. Found in large colonies. Feeds on plankton.

Threat to humans:  harmless
