Max. size:  120 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine
Distribution:  Indian Ocean: eastern Indonesia (Ref. 80994) and India (Ref. 118627).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Presumably occurring on the outer continental shelf and upper slope. Females have litters of 6-11 where reproductive mode is viviparous, with histotrophy (no yolk-sac placenta); size at birth about 28- 30 cm TL (Ref. 80994).
