Family:  Sebastidae (Rockfishes, rockcods and thornyheads), subfamily: Sebastinae
Max. size:  27 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 150 - 500 m
Distribution:  Northwest Pacific: Japan and southern Korea to the East China Sea.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found in sandy mud bottom (Ref. 11230). Viviparous (Ref. 34817).
