Max. size:  4.9 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; freshwater
Distribution:  South America: Marowijne River basin, Suriname.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Was discovered in a little forest creek, with some cascades and with sandy and rocky bottom. The males have odontodes developed on their pectoral fins (Ref. 35381).
