Distribution:  Africa: Lake Nabugabo.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occurs inshore over a variety of substrates, amongst emergent vegetation, over exposed sandy beaches and some distance offshore over a mud bottom (Ref. 4983). Is an omnivorous bottom feeder which preys chiefly on insect larvae (Ref. 558).
