Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater; depth range - 6 m
Distribution:  Africa: Lake Victoria.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits relatively sheltered or exposed areas over hard bottoms (sand or shingle) (Ref. 4983). The stomachs of the specimens which were examined contained remains of fish identifiable as Haplochromis (Ref. 558).
