Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater; depth range - 0 m, non-migratory
Distribution:  Africa: only known from Lake Kijanebalola, Uganda (Ref. 52362).
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 15-16; Dorsal soft rays (total): 9-10; Anal spines: 3-3; Anal soft rays: 9-9
Biology:  In shallow waters; thought to feed on juvenile fish (Ref. 52362).
