Max. size:  18 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range 10 - 40 m, non-migratory
Distribution:  Western Pacific.
Diagnosis:  Recognized by dusky yellow color (Ref. 48636).
Biology:  Found in coastal reefs and lagoons (Ref. 8631), often on sand-rubble substrates with large staghorn coral colonies. Occurs in small loose groups of females (Ref. 48636). Feeds on benthic invertebrates.
