Family:  Sisoridae (Sisorid catfishes), subfamily: Sisorinae
Max. size:  11.51 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: Mekong and Salween basins in Yunnan.
Diagnosis:  Plain dark brown to black body; neural spines distally expanded, forming a small ridge along the dorsal mid-line between the dorsal and adipose fins (recognized by a series of low bumps) (Ref. 27732).
Biology:  Usually associated with fast flowing streams (Ref. 27732).
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 02 November 2022 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
