Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater; pH range: 6.5 - 7.19999980926514, non-migratory
Distribution:  Africa: swampy zones located between the Niger delta and the Warri, Nigeria (Ref. 7372).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occurs in raffia swamps and swampy parts of brooks in the humid coastal forest; annual species; 3 to 6 month incubation period for the eggs (Ref. 96625)
