Environment:  pelagic-oceanic; marine; depth range 512 - 692 m
Distribution:  Northwest Pacific: South China Sea between the Viet Nam coast and Hainan Island, China (Ref. 31367).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Known only from the holotype. Ovoviviparous (Ref. 205).
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 28 August 2019 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
