Max. size:  6 cm TL (male/unsexed); max. reported age: 2 years
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  North America: known only from the Caddo River and Hallmans Creek (upper Ouachita River drainage) in southwestern Arkansas, USA.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Adults inhabit shallow, rocky pools of headwaters and creeks, and vegetated springs (Ref. 5723).
