Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater, non-migratory
Distribution:  Africa: drainage systems of the Sangha, Likouala and Alima in eastern Republic of Congo (Ref. 47774).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occurs in brooks and small rivers under forest cover (Ref. 47774). 6.5 cm max TL (Ref. 3788). Not a seasonal killifish (Ref. 27139).
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 16 February 2009 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
