Family:  Nothobranchiidae (African rivulines)
Max. size:  7 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater, non-migratory
Distribution:  Africa: around Kenema, eastern Sierra Leone. Probably identical to Epiplatys fasciolatus.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  7 cm SL (Ref. 7372) and 8.7 cm max TL (Ref. 3788). Occurs in small rivers and brooks under forest cover (Ref. 3788). Not a seasonal killifish. Is difficult to maintain in aquarium (Ref. 27139).
