E. chevalieri chevalieri occurs in small rivers, creeks and swamps in the rainforest and forested savannah, while E. chevalieri nigricans is most probably restricted to forested areas and is not expected to inhabit the adjacent savannah (Ref. 47774). Not a seasonal killifish. Is very difficult to maintain in aquarium (Ref. 27139). |
