Max. size:  30 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Africa: only known from the type locality: Alto Cuilo, Kwilu (=Cuilo) River drainage (Kasai system, middle Congo River basin), Angola (Ref. 11970).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Maximum TL was recorded at 3.8 cm (Ref. 2801).
IUCN Red List Status: Data deficient (DD); Date assessed: 16 February 2009 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
