Max. size:  11 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Africa: middle Congo River in the Yangambi area (Ref. 2970, 42033, 46880), Uele (Ref. 46880), Wagenia Falls (Ref. 106245), Lualaba (Ref. 41590, 45434) and upper Lualaba (Ref. 41590), in Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Diagnosis:  Well-defined spots on flanks (Ref. 122753).
