Environment:  demersal; marine
Distribution:  Northwest Pacific: northern Japan, the Yellow Sea, and the Gulf of Po-Hai.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 12-14; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 12-14. Body elongate. First dorsal fin absent. Caudal peduncle compressed. Attains 5 cm SL.
Biology:  Inhabits sandy beaches (Ref. 42598).
