Environment:  pelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  North America: Upper Nueces River drainage in Texas, USA.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits rocky pools, sometimes runs, of headwaters, creeks, and small rivers. Usually occurs among filamentous algae (Ref. 86798).
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 28 November 2011 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
