Family:  Macrouridae (Grenadiers or rattails)
Max. size:  50.8 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  bathydemersal; marine; depth range 622 - 1350 m
Distribution:  Eastern Indian Ocean: southern Australia, from Western Australia to Tasmania and off Victoria. Southwest Pacific: Norfolk Ridge south of New Caledonia and New Zealand.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  A benthic species found on the continental slope (Ref. 75154).
