Max. size:  13.1 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 37 - 48 m
Distribution:  Western Indian Ocean: off Natal, South Africa and off Tanzania. Likely to occur in Seychelles (Ref. 1623).
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 12-13; Dorsal soft rays (total): 9-10; Anal spines: 1-1; Anal soft rays: 7-8; Vertebrae: 25-26
Biology:  Five known specimens.
