Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 8-8; Dorsal soft rays (total): 11-11; Anal spines: 2-2; Anal soft rays: 8-8; Vertebrae: 28-28. Prickles on body greatly reduced and widely spaced (Ref. 39602).
