Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Africa: Stanley (=Wagenia) Falls near Kisangani (Ref. 42480, 78218), Pool Malebo (=Stanley Pool), rapids at the outflow of Pool Malebo (Ref. 41585), rapids of the lower Congo (Ref. 42510, 78218) and in the Inkisi River (lower Congo River basin) (Ref. 88779) in Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Diagnosis:  Vertebrae: 32-33
Biology:  Oviparous (Ref. 205).
