Distribution:  Eastern Central Atlantic: endemic to Cape Verde.
Diagnosis:  Anal spines: 3-3; Anal soft rays: 9-9
Biology:  Neritic (Ref. 7399). Oviparous, eggs are pelagic and non-adhesive (Ref. 205).
