Max. size:  8.1 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 20 - 668 m
Distribution:  Northern Atlantic: St. Lawrence River estuary, east of Newfoundland and off Halifax, Nova Scotia to Virginia, USA.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 46-58; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 42-51. White in color, peritoneum silvery, stomach pale (Ref. 12204).
Biology:  Females are mature at 5.4 cm TL (Ref. 12204).
